The use of medicinal plants as antiparasitic is an alternative that does not cause harm to the animal or the environment. The objective was to measure the effect of two plants Sapindus saponari (choloque) and Azadirachta indica (neem) at concentrations of 50 ppm, 500 ppm and 5 000 ppm, measured in one hour, at 15-minute intervals. A completely randomized block design was used for the experimental design, where the evaluation value for the model was less than 0.05 (p-value=7.26e07). The results obtained highlight the effect of neem from low concentrations of 50 ppm, with which a mortality rate of 15% was obtained, and at concentrations of 5,000 ppm a mortality rate of 40% was obtained. When evaluating the effect of choloque, it began to act at concentrations of 5,000 ppm with a mortality rate of 15%. The mortality rate was measured up to 60 minutes, during which time neem at a concentration of 5 000 ppm reached a mortality rate of 85% and choloque at the same concentration reached a mortality rate of 60%. In all measurements the Anova was significant for the different treatments.
