The objective was to evaluate the use of whey in the feed of broiler chickens during the grower-finisher stage and to observe its effect on intestinal health and productive performance. The study was conducted at the Miraflores Academic and Research Center with three treatments: T1, water only; T2: 50% sweet whey + 50% water; T3: 50% acid whey + 50% water, using 40 birds per treatment and 3 replicates. The research lasted 22 days. For intestinal morphometry, the width, height, area, and perimeter of the villi were recorded; and for productive performance, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, feed intake, and whey intake were measured. Intestinal morphology indicators were analyzed using a completely randomized design and Fisher's LSD test (p≤0.05), and production indicators using a generalized mixed model with repeated measures and Tukey–Kramer test (p≤0.05). All production indicators were affected by the treatments (p<0.0001), with T2 showing the best results: feed intake/day/bird of 0.158 kg, final weight/bird of 2.98 kg, weight gain/bird of 0.068 kg, and feed conversion ratio of 2.7. In intestinal morphometry, T2 also showed the best values.
