This new academic space not only responds to the local needs of a region rich in biodiversity, natural resources and agricultural activities, but also offers opportunities to strengthen scientific research in fundamental fields such as animal health, public health, food safety and environmental conservation, in a country whose economy depends largely on agriculture and livestock, opening a range of opportunities for the progress of the Amazon region of Peru.
