New perspectives in Veterinary Medicine in the Peruvian Amazon

Scientific research in the field of veterinary medicine in our country is reaching great levels of progress in areas such as zoonosis, epidemiology, molecular biology, infectology, health and production, it is thus that our career is promoted in a promising future in Peru, being able to generate innovation and technology transfer in a collaborative manner among other areas of health sciences; It is thus that in March 2021, through a labor law, the Peruvian State considered the Veterinary Doctor as a Health professional, in this way he is incorporated into a vital area of research, which in collaboration with multiple disciplines interdependent relationships is known as the "One health" approach, which is key in problems such as the crisis of antibiotic resistance worldwide.
