About the Journal

The Revista de Veterinaria y Zootecnia Amazónica (REVZA) with e-ISSN: 2810-8175, is an open access international scientific journal edited by the Editorial Fund of the Universidad Nacional de San Martín in collaboration with the Professional School of Veterinary Medicine.

Its objective is to publish original, unpublished articles of great relevance to society related to veterinary sciences and zootechnics, with emphasis on the disciplines of veterinary medicine, animal welfare, veterinary public health, veterinary pathology, animal production, genetics and animal reproduction, among other related topics.

REVZA is published every six months, with publications in January and July. It is currently registered in Latindex Directory, AmeliCA, LivRE and other databases.

Consider:

  • REVZA does not charge APC; it is an Open Access journal: free submission, free publication, and free reading.
  • REVZA publishes two issues per year (semi-annually), at the beginning of January and July.
  • All issues of REVZA cover the field of veterinary sciences and zootechnics, with emphasis on the disciplines of veterinary medicine, animal welfare, veterinary public health, veterinary pathology, animal production, animal genetics and reproduction, among other related topics.
  • REVZA accepts and publishes articles in Spanish.
  • REVZA publishes a limited number of articles per year. Therefore, in order to serve the entire community, it will not publish more than one article per author and per volume or year (exceptionally two). Publications for members of the Universidad Nacional de San Martín will not exceed 30% per issue.
