Violation of the right of access to health services of the trans community

Abstract

Because of the limiting situations of trans community in everyday actions, I considered this research. In this sense, the purpose of the article was determine the infringement of the right to access to health services of the trans community at Hospital II, Tarapoto, year 2020, identifying the level of knowledge about this right and legally analyzing its occurrence. It is an applied research, with a descriptive level, non-experimental transversal design, having as population and sample 38 members of the trans community of the city of Tarapoto, members of the Organización Diversidad San Martinense – (San Martinense Diversity Organization) - DISAM. The technique used was the interview and the instrument was the questionnaire. The results indicate that the level of knowledge about the right to access to health services of the trans community of Tarapoto is on average 94.7%, the violation of the principles of the right to access to health services is 72.0% and the level of non-compliance with administrative and legal elements is high with 57.9%. It is concluded that in 74.8% of the cases analyzed, there is a violation of the right to access to health services of the trans community in Hospital II, Tarapoto, for the year 2020.
