Abstract

Plagiarism, defined as the appropriation of ideas, texts, images, tables and / or any type of intellectual production, is considered a scientific misconduct that negatively affects the reputation of the authors who have committed this offense (Castro-Rodriguez , 2020). This is a concern for scientific journals that must reinforce their editorial policies in order to avoid this type of behavior and their reputation is affected. Likewise, universities must institutionalize review models for the presentation of works that seek the same objective (Vera, 2016).
