Potential trend of demand for tourism development in the province of Lamas, San Martín region

Our objective was to determine the relationship of tourism development as potential demand in the province of Lamas, San Martín region. The research approach is quantitative, the type of research is non-experimental and explanatory level, the design is causal correlational. The sample consisted of 30 residents of the province of Lamas. Instruments were applied, validated by expert judgment, the internal consistency obtained was: 0.960 for the tourism development instrument and 0.924 for the potential demand instrument. To contrast the hypothesis, Spearman's correlation coefficient was used, which allowed measuring the association of the variables, the results: the relationship between the variables, tourism development and economic activity in the province of Lamas, Rho = 0.90 was obtained; of the association between the variables: tourism development and job creation, Rho=0.974, of the relationship between the variables: tourism development and economy booster, calculating Rho = 0.966, likewise the level of significance is (p<0 .05). It has been verified that tourism development is significantly related to potential demand in the province of Lamas, San Martín region.
