The objective of this work was to determine the prevalence of bovine brucellosis in the province of Mariscal Cáceres, for which 393 cattle of different ages and breeds from the districts of Campanilla, Huicungo, Juanjuí, Pachiza and Pajarillo were evaluated. The results of the analysis of the serum of these animals with the Rose Bengal test were negative for bovine brucellosis. Likewise, through the analysis of this work, it was determined that the "crossbred" breed is the one that is found in the greatest quantity in the province and, in the same way, it was determined that natural mounting is the method used by farmers to reproduce their animals. The Pachiza district resulted in the highest percentage (3.3%) using the artificial insemination technique.
