Abstract

The result of the thesis was to develop intercultural coexistence and social skills in fourth-year secondary school students at I.E. Santo Toribio, 2023. Research methodology: applied. Level of research: explanatory. Design: a pre-experimental approach was adopted. Data collection: a questionnaire was used as an assessment tool. The results in the dimension of basic social skills reached a regular level with 36.4% (NHSR) and developed with 45.5% (NHSD); the level in the dimension of advanced social skills improved by 59.1%. (NHSD); in the dimension of skills for managing feelings, the level was average with 18.2% (NHSR) and developed with 45.5% (NHSD); in the dimension of alternative skills to aggression, it reached an average level with 22.7% (NHSR) and developed with 40.9% (NHSD); in the dimension of stress management skills, it reached a regular level with 22.7% (NHSR) and a developed level with 36.4% (NHSD); in the dimension of planning skills in various contexts as a social skill, it reached a regular level with 31.8% (NHSR) and developed with 31.8% (NHSD), concluding that the application of the intercultural coexistence workshop significantly improved social skills in fourth-year secondary school students at I.E. Santo Toribio, 2023.
